The CUUL/EIFL SPIDER II Project involving six participating institutions in Uganda is , additionally for one event, including eight other CUUL institutions: Bugema University, Nkumba University, Ndejje University, Kampala International University, Mountain of the Moon University and Muni University under the theme " Open Access Policy Development in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania to make more digital content avalilable".
Makerere University under the Sida Project; and in conjunction with the Consortium of Uganda University Libraries (CUUL); organized a five day workshop on Resource Management System (RMS)-SemperTool that drew 26 participants from 21 universities and institutions. The workshop took place from the 29th August to the 2nd September 2016 at Makerere University Main Library, Multipurpose Lab on level 2-new building. Post the workshop, participants were further expected to provide technical support to institutions not in attendance.
The Workshop on Inclusive Libraries was a 3 day workshop organized with the support of United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) East Africa Office by DAISY Consortium and hosted by Consortium of Uganda University Libraries (CUUL).
